On Boxing Day, 30 or so choristers, plus a few hangers on, gathered at Adelaide airport to start the journey to the England for the Cathedrals tour.
After 24 hours or so, the group of now slightly weary travellers were met by our tour manager, Christina from Insight Tours, at Birmingham airport. From there it was on to the bus and our first stop, Lincoln.
After a quick welcome drink and a proper English pub meal, most of our tired travellers went straight to bed to rest up for the first full day of the tour, and the evensong at Lincoln Cathedral.
