We left York today to drive to Gloucester where we sang Howell’s Gloucester service in the building It was composed for. This was certainly a highlight for the music nerds amongst us!
We had only a brief time to wander around Gloucester in the afternoon, but again, the Potterheads in the group were delighted to find the cloisters in the cathedral were those used in the filming of The Chameber of Secrets.
We were again impressed with the welcoming nature of all the virgers and clergy who made our experience warm and inviting.
