After saying our goodbyes to Canterbury, today was a much needed rest from singing as we made our way up to Lincoln. We broke up the journey by stopping at Ely Cathedral, taking in the amazing architecture, ceilings and carvings before heading off for lunch.
We arrived in Lincoln in the late afternoon and were met by friend of Pilgrim Choir Alana Brook, now assistant organist at Lincoln Cathedral. We all had a lovely dinner at a local restaurant with canal views, fuelling up for another busy day of singing and touring tomorrow!
