For many years Pilgrim has hosted visits from some of the world’s leading organists. Guests typically perform a recital and play for a choral worship service at Pilgrim. In this way Pilgrim hopes to maintain the prominence of the organ as a recital instrument, encourage young people to pursue organ studies, as well as provide invaluable professional development opportunities for our organists and choristers through working with liturgical musicians of international standing. The contacts we have made through the visiting organist program have also opened doors for choir tours and organ visits around the world.
