Rehearsing Ešenvalds’ ‘O Emmanuel’, which is the anthem for our evensong tomorrow, Saturday 2 December at 5pm.
We’re pretty sure Ešenvalds had Riana Chakravarti in mind when he wrote the solo for this piece – same goes for his Magnificat and Nunc dimittis which we will also be singing, and which also feature solos (in the Glorias).
Ešenvalds’ rich harmonies – and Riana’s amazing voice – sound even better in a live acoustic, so come along!
